On Saturday, October 27th between 5pm and 10pm, the Beacon Hill Merchants Association is sponsoring another night of live music in participating restaurants on the hill. We hope you’ll come out for dinner and drinks and enjoy an excellent selection of musical entertainment, all at locations within 2 blocks of Hanford and Beacon Ave. South. Check out the schedule below and click on links (underlined text) to get more information on performers and venues:
Hot Club Sandwich
5pm – 8pm | Bar del Corso | 3057 Beacon Ave. S.
How about a Hot Club Sandwich with your wood-fired pizza? “Hot Club Sandwich has established itself as one of the most vibrant emerging acoustic bands on the West Coast… capturing the “spirit of the Hot Jazz string bands of the early 20th century.” (from DjangoFest Northwest)
7pm – 10pm | El Quetzal | 3209 Beacon Ave. S.
Mango Trio is comprised of members of Seattle’s MangoSon, typically a seven-piece band that “takes a fresh look at traditional Cuban son, Dominican merengue, cumbia, and Venezuelan parranda — percussion-heavy music that cuts through the formalities to get you dancing.” (from MangoSon website)
The Colour Project
8pm – 10pm | Tippe and Drague | 3315 Beacon Ave. S.
The Colour Project is a Seattle-based indie-dance-rock band led by our dear and fabulous Jessie McKenna! Have a listen on the band’s myspace page.
