Earth Day projects for Beacon Hill

Happy Earth Day everyone, let’s give something back to the only planet we have!   We’ve got two Beacon Hill volunteer opportunities this Saturday.  First, right at the Beacon Junction, Seattle’s Tree Ambassadors and the Beacon Hill Garden Club will meet at Bayview and 15th at 12:45 to do maintenance and clean up at the Bayview Triangle–a key green dot in the middle of our business district!  Before that, at 10 am, a clean up will get started in the Cheasty area that connects Beacon Hill and Mt Baker.  Meet right behind the Mt Baker light rail station and bring some gloves (call 707 4748 if you’d like more info). You could even do both (but go easy on the donuts)!   Thanks to all the volunteers for putting these work parties together, and thanks to you for helping clean up on Beacon Hill. Enjoy the spring, and our Earth!
